The Basecamp is located in a beautiful area with a variety of ecosystems and medicinal plants.

It has a large comfortable classroom space, spacious common rooms and a hot tub.

North Cascades Basecamp will also provide three healthy meals for us each day. Most of the food served comes from their own gardens as well as other local sources. Please inquire about special dietary needs.

Lodging prices are as follows:

private room with meals: $772.00*
shared room with meals: $672.00*

*a 3% increase will be added to credit card/Paypal payments.

There are only a few private rooms available and will be given on a first come first served basis to those paying tuition and lodging in full.

Getting to the Methow Valley

Students are responsible for acquiring their own transportation to the Methow Valley.

The Methow Valley is only accessible by car.

For those flying we recommend two options.

Fly to the Seattle airport where you can rent a car and drive 4 hours to the retreat center. (This is one of the most beautiful drives in the U.S.!)

Fly to Wenatchee (airport code EAT) where you can rent a car and drive 2 hours to the Methow. (A beautiful drive along the Columbia River then up the Methow Valley.)

We recommend that, if possible, students arrive 1-2 days before the course starts. This will allow for you to adjust to any time changes and allow for any travel setbacks. You will need to arrange for your own lodging and food for your stay prior to our retreat.

Please do not buy plane tickets or make other travel arrangements until you read our travel information for students.

How to Register for the course

We are only accepting a small number of students in this course. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about learning intermediate and advanced herbalism and who are excited about spending time in the beautiful Methow Valley.

If you are interested in the course you can fill out an application here

We also require a $200 deposit. This deposit is non-refundable (unless the course is canceled for any reason.)
